X-Ray CR systems are used in conjunction with conventional X-Ray systems. The CR package consists of a computer workstation, a plate scanner (or reader) and an assortment of CR cassettes with re-usable plates. You insert a CR cassette into your x-ray table or wall stand, position your patient, make an exposure and within 30 seconds your patient images are ready for review.
